Myrtle Beach Region

About

We are a group of amateur and professional nature photographers based in the Northeast area of South Carolina and the extreme Southeast area of North Carolina. We welcome photographers at all levels of experience from beginners to professionals to become members of our group.

If not a member, join us.

Our goals are:

  • To promote nature photography in the Carolinas
  • To create an awareness and appreciation for the area’s natural beauty
  • To educate others interested in nature and wildlife photography.

Currently, we have regularly scheduled meetings every month on the fourth Thursday between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. These meetings usually include an educational presentation of interest to nature photographers. In the off month we try to schedule a group photography outing.

Refer to the Regional Events and/or Calendar pages (access through the main menu at the top of the page) for a listing of upcoming events.

Our monthly group meetings in 2024 will be held January through May at the Carolina Forest Recreation Center in Horry County, located at 2254 Carolina Forest Blvd., Myrtle Beach, S.C., 29579. We typically take a summer break and will resume meetings in August.
