High Country: Lumos App Demo w/Ethan Holshouser

  • March 12, 2026
  • 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
  • Zoom

Join us on March 12th via Zoom for a presentation that is guaranteed to help you produce more impactful outdoor images - no matter what or where you are shooting.

Our presenter is Ethan Holshauser, an incredibly talented nature photographer (and a High Country Region member!) He also happens to be the creator of the Lumos app, a very powerful sun and moon tracker tool that makes planning for great shots a breeze.

Lumos displays times (on any date/location you choose) for sunrise/set, moonrise/set, golden hour and other solar and lunar events in an easy-to-use interface. It also offers augmented reality view, map overlays and street-view integration.

While there are other apps that provide similar information, Ethan says he designed Lumos to be more intuitive, with no complicated settings or cluttered menus to navigate.

Don't miss this opportunity to learn all about this powerful app as Ethan discusses best practice and shares some of his favorite images he captured with assistance from Lumos.
