Join the CNPA High Country Region for a special hands-on photography workshop focused on the fundamentals of producing incredible still life images like these in the comfort of your own home.
This full-day course will spark your fire as you learn to create beautiful fine art photos using floral arrangements, artistic "dead stuff" and even unique items from your own desk drawers!
Our instructor is Jamie Konarski Davidson of New Life Photos, who will show how to use tabletop set-ups, backgrounds, lighting techniques and other tools & techniques to achieve stunning results.
Jamie is an award-winning photographer with a passion for capturing and sharing the intimate moments and beauty of the natural world. She leads workshops across the East Coast and encourages her students to stretch their creative muscles and push beyond their comfort zones.
We are thrilled that she will be sharing her expertise with us.
The workshop will take place at The HUB Station Art Center - 145 Cedar Valley Road in Hudson, NC - just minutes from Hickory and Lenoir. The program will run from 9am to 4pm (with a short break for lunch). There's plenty of free, onsite parking.
Your $105 registration fee also includes a pre-workshop Zoom session with Jamie on January 13 at 7pm to provide preparatory information and second Zoom meeting on February 4 at 7pm for participants to share their images and receive feedback. (Both Zoom sessions will be recorded and available for viewing if you are unable to participate live.)
