* It's a Tuesday Quiet Day at the zoo. No large groups, big bus loads of two-legged creatures, or blaring speakers.* It is about an hour and a half drive to the south of the Asheboro area.* Let's meet at the entrance to the Africa gates (south side of park) before 9:00 AM for a group shot.* Some may join us for lunch at the Crossing Plaza Cafe in Junction Plaza at 11:30 AM.* Some new and interesting sites are: White deer, Ostrich., and the botanical gardens.* More information, including a map and feeding times will be provided to all that register or e-mail Lois Makoid.* Another outing should be planned for the fall.
