Default Re: Lens for Yellowstone?

I am new here, so this is my first post. First, I am glad you have made your decision on a lens. That is a big one. Relief comes when we finally make up our minds.

I just wanted to say, I was out in the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone last year. I was quite disappointed in Yellowstone (saw a few bison, that was about it). But the Grand Tetons, oh wow, that was something else.

I would like to recommend a book (get it from Amazon on Kindle if you want), that is like having a tour guide on your Smartphone (with Kindle downloaded). It is called "Dirt Cheap Photo Guide Grand Teton National Park" by Jeff Clow. He tells you where to go, and when to be there. Wonderful.

Hope that helps.
