Default joe k attempt at oil and water

I used Deede Dentons's technique and something like Mike Moat's setup

The one thing I found about this was that it takes a lot of light to get a decent shutter speed. I had a lamp above the pyrex dish I was using and a couple of flashlights underneath the dish.

I think Edgar's version has better color depth or at least colors I like better. But I don't think mine turned out too bad.
