Jordan Lake Bald Eagle observatory?

We went out to this nice, new platform this past weekend. It is no longer flooded (as was reported on New Hope Audubon's Website - http://www.newhopeaudubon.org/). The parking area was blocked off and a few cars were parked along the edge of Martha's Chapel Road which made the site easy to find. Follow the wooded path down the water's edge and the platform. We didn't spot any eagles - just gulls.
