Hello All-

It was so good to see so many of you at the Annual Meeting and what a great series of talks we had! Has anyone purchased a “Gigopan” device for large panos? Or have you tried scuba lessons to see if underwater photography is a new avenue to explore?

Back to reality since no one has hit the lottery from our group since the meeting- may be they have and we will never see them again…

Date: March 8, 2010
Location: Sciworks in Winston Salem, NC

Time: 7pm meet and greet, then 7:30pm program

The topic for March is ‘Image Critique’…As you know we are trying to do 2 this time around. We have our usual images that are ‘what you have found with your camera lately’ and the new theme based images. Hopefully you have been shooting some different ones for the theme- silence.

The format for the images you wish to submit for review will be: up to 3 images for theme topic and up to 5 images for general critique

• Longest side 1000 pixels
• Save as medium size (less than 1mb) & JPEG
• Re-name the file Last name_First Name_1 (add your name appropriate number)
• Title your e-mail either “Theme” or “General” so I know what slideshow to put them in

Any questions please let me know & I can help you get your photos in the right size/format

Remember the purpose of the critique is share and learn. Everyone sees the world differently and we all are learning. Hopefully with the collective knowledge we all share; we can learn from each other and improve. I am excited to see what everyone has found!

Please submit all your images by 3/7/10 8pm.
